Ok, so it has been a really long time since I last posted. Sorry, but what is there to write about when you are stuck in your house all the time because it is too cold to go outside! Lately it has been warming up a bit and we are beginning to venture out.Phil has another quarter under his belt and he is doing awesome! He got all A's again and he was much more confident this quarter. I am really proud of him!! After two straight weeks of studying Phil got a week off of school! We are just staying around here for his break and taking it easy. We had been talking about it for a month (pretty sad!) that the night of his last test we would get a deep dish pizza and beer and watch a movie and that is exactly what we did and it was glorious!
Saturday night we met up with Eileen and a bunch of other people after her cousins wedding down in Highwood for some drinks. Phil was so excited to get out and enjoy the company of those who do not attend Medical school. Sunday we went with Julie and her family downtown to the aquarium and then had Sunday dinner at her house. Melodie's boyfriend Steve has been making Sunday dinner for the past few weeks. He loves making it and we love eating it! It was nice to have Phil there for a change. All week I have been thinking that all of a sudden he is going to get up to go back to studying. I swear I am going to have a complex for the rest of my life!
Monday we went and saw Slumdog Millionaire. We definately reccommend it! I can't remember the last time we went to a movie. Oh, yes I do, it was last summer. Pretty sad! Today we are having a rain storm so we rented a few movies and got some beer and are hiding inside for the rest of the day. Friday night we are going over to a friends house for dinner and on Saturday we are going to the city to celebrate Eileens birthday! Hopefully its not raining:)
